The University of Guelph is offering a full day conference for University bound Grade 10 & 11 students, on April 25 or 26, 2018. Interaction is offering over 40 sessions that aim to introduce university living and learning through informative and interactive sessions. Brochures and information are available in Student Services.
Volunteers are required for clean up at Fieldcote Museum. The date is Saturday, April 21st., meeting in the parking lot at Fieldcote at 9.30am, until about 1pm., rain or shine. We provide tools, but ask volunteers to bring gardening gloves and wear suitable clothing. Refreshments will be provided. For more information check the volunteer board or in Student Services.
On Saturday, March 24th the African Lion Safari is hosting a job fair at the Mombasa Market Restaurant onsite at the Lion Safari. Students are invited to attend the job fair, which will be held from 9am – noon. For more information check the job board or in Student Services.
High School Health Research Bursary Program. Students in Grade 11 & 12 can apply for a seven-week summer internship placement program this summer from July 3rd – August 17th. This program provides students with an excellent opportunity to explore career options, expand your potential horizons and exposure to leading scientific minds in healthcare research, as well as receive a $1,500 bursary upon completion. For more information check in Student Services. Deadline is April 2, 2018 for application.
McMaster University is hosting Discovery Days in Health Sciences. Grade 11 and 12 students interested in attending this one day event must sign up in guidance and complete a Response Form by Thursday March 29. Space is limited for this event.

Are you a dynamic and effective leader interested in inspiring and engaging a future generation of Ancaster Royals? If so, apply NOW for a much-coveted leadership position as a Grade 9 Night Student Ambassador. Anyone interested in being one of the FAB 4 or a committee LEADER must complete and submit an application form to Ms. Fletcher by Thursday, April 5th. All Junior and senior volleyball players interested in playing co-ed volleyball need to attend a short meeting Friday at lunch in room 220. If you are unable to attend but what to play, please see Mr. Arnold for details and practice information.
Reminder to all cricket players of the practice Friday at 3pm in Gym AB. Bring your athletic forms and non-marking shoes. New players welcome to join but you MUST have an athletic form filled. Get them from Mr. Taylor. Bowling!
